Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

Miami is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Miami is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I had both veneers and a tooth extraction done at this office, and my experience was outstanding from start to finish. I saw two different doctors, and both were incredibly skilled, professional, and caring. The veneers look amazingly natural. In fact, none of my friends noticed that I had my teeth changed until I pointed it out to themβ€”which, in my opinion, is the highest compliment to the doctor. Of course, my new teeth look much better than what I had before, and I finally have the perfect smile, but it still looks completely natural and fits my face perfectly. The entire team made me feel comfortable throughout the process, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for high-quality dental care and beautiful, natural-looking cosmetic work.

Extremely disappointed by the level of professionalism, communication, and customer service provided by this office. My boyfriend required two separate procedures. Initially, we were informed that if he arrived at a certain time, both procedures could potentially be completed on the same day. Wanting to avoid rushing the process, we followed the office’s recommendation to instead schedule the second procedure for the following week β€” specifically on Memorial Day, a date that the office itself suggested. Before confirming, I personally called multiple times to ensure the office would in fact be open and able to accommodate the appointment due to an important insurance deadline and limited availability with a full-time work schedule. Each time, we were reassured that the appointment was confirmed and that the office would be operating that day. Despite all of this, only days before the appointment, we received notice that the appointment was being canceled entirely and that they could no longer accommodate us. To make matters worse, staff members provided contradictory explanations regarding whether both procedures could have been completed during the original visit, which ultimat

I came in for a straightforward crown replacement on my back molar in August 2025. I had no pain, no sensitivity, and no other issues β€” I simply needed a broken crown repaired. What followed was one of the worst dental experiences of my life, and six months of consequences I’m still dealing with. During the numbing injection, it felt like the dentist, Dr. Atwal hit my ligament β€” my jaw was unbelievably sore for five days after the first appointment. The temporary crown fell off the same day I got home. When I returned for the permanent crown, the placement was rough and aggressive. He also skipped the lateral bite check entirely β€” only having me tap up and down β€” which any dentist performing a crown will tell you is incomplete, since your bite is not just vertical. After that appointment: severe pain for weeks, cold sensitivity, and difficulty chewing β€” none of which existed before I walked in. I was taking Tylenol extra strength multiple times a day for nearly a month just to get through the day. Also immediately after Dr. Atwal's work, I noticed that every time I flossed between the crown he placed and the adjacent tooth, the floss would catch β€” as though it was snagging under

I was visiting Miami on vacation and cracked a tooth at a dinner, requiring an immediate root canal. I found Brickell Dental near my hotel, and I was able to get an appointment immediately for the next day. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and I got a root canal and a temp crown within a day. I was able to carry on with my vacation with the temp crown till I got home. I cannot thank Dr. Quintana and the staff enough for their help.

My first visit was seamless and very pleasant! The cleaning was thorough but gentle and Dr Q addressed all my concerns very thoroughly and presented different options to figure out what would work best. The office is lovely and has a calm energy.
